About the role
You'll join the Brand & Content team in Malaysia, the people behind what drivers read, watch and share from Motorist. You'll help create articles, social posts and short videos that are useful, easy to understand and sound like a street-smart friend, never a car dealer or a textbook.
Responsibilities
Tasks & responsibilities
- Research, write and edit articles for Motorist Malaysia in clear, jargon-free language.
- Draft captions, hooks and scripts for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Help plan and maintain the content calendar.
- Support shoots and edits for short videos and car reviews: on-site help, simple cuts, captions.
- Fact-check figures and details before anything goes live.
- Track how posts and articles perform, and share what you learn.
- Keep everything on-brand: smart, helpful and human.
Requirements
Qualifications & experience
- Currently studying (degree or diploma) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
- Available for the full internship period, 5 days a week.
- A strong writer in English. Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Comfortable with Canva, CapCut or similar editing tools.
- You know how Instagram, Facebook and TikTok work, and you notice what makes people stop scrolling.
- Careful with facts, and happy to double-check before you publish
Nice to have
- Video editing or photography skills.
- Basic SEO knowledge.
- An interest in cars and driving, or the curiosity to learn.
Qualifications
Currently studying (degree or diploma) in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
