Honda Offering Massive Discounts on Popular Models: City, CR-V, Civic, and More in May 2025
In May 2025, Honda is once again offering attractive discounts across several models, including popular ones like Honda City, CR-V L/G, Civic RS/G, and BR-V G. This promotion offers discounts equivalent to 50% of the registration fee, following the same strategy applied to the Civic in the previous month.
Key Models with Discounts:
Honda City: Despite being one of the best-selling models (with 2,001 units sold in Q1 2025), the Honda City is included in this promotion. The discount ranges from 25 million to 28.5 million VND, with the starting price now reduced from 499 million VND to 474 million VND. In addition, buyers will receive a 1-year Honda insurance as part of the offer. This move comes in response to the strong competition from Toyota Vios and Hyundai Accent, both of which lead the segment in sales.
Honda CR-V L/G: This model is discounted from 51.5 million VND to 55 million VND, bringing the starting price from 1.029 billion VND to just over 977 million VND. However, only the e:HEV RS variant will come with gifts, not discounts.
Honda Civic RS/G: The Civic continues to receive a 50% discount on registration fees, which translates to 39.5 million to 44.5 million VND off the price. However, this offer only applies to 2024 models, with the starting price now 749.5 million VND. Compared to rivals like Toyota Corolla Altis (725 million VND) and Mazda3 (599 million VND), the Civic remains the most expensive in its segment.
Honda BR-V: The Honda BR-V also benefits from the same 50% registration fee discount, amounting to 31.5 million to over 35 million VND off the price. The new price starts at 597 million VND, making it more affordable compared to the Toyota Veloz Cross (priced after discount at around 606 million VND) but still higher than the Mitsubishi Xpander (priced after discount from 532 million VND).
Other Honda Models and Their Offers:
Honda Accord: The Honda Accord, which has seen disappointing sales, is not included in the current discount program, despite previous months offering discounts of 200-250 million VND. Despite this, some dealers are still offering 250 million VND in cash incentives to push remaining stock.
Honda HR-V: The newly launched Honda HR-V in early April doesn't fall under the current promotion but certain dealers are offering a small discount of 20 million VND on the standard versions (G and L). After the discount, the price for the G version is 679 million VND, and the L version is 730 million VND.
