Bowers & Wilkins Has Released Its McLaren-inspired Pi8 Wireless Earbuds

Published by on
The Pi8 McLaren Edition is a new version of the flagship Pi8 wireless Bluetooth earbuds by Bower & Wilkins, launched to mark B&W's 10th anniversary this year as McLaren's official in-car entertainment partner.

Britain's Bowers & Wilkins worked with the British marque to develop the high-performance audio systems for McLaren's supercars, such as the GT and the recently-announced W1. The McLaren GTS and Artura are also equipped with B&W hi-fi as standard.

The decade-long partnership was recently extended to see B&W become McLaren's official audio partner across McLaren Automotive (road cars) and the McLaren Formula 1 Team.

The Pi8 McLaren Edition joins the Px8 McLaren Edition and Zeppelin McLaren Edition audio devices in a portfolio of collaborative products created by Bowers & Wilkins with McLaren.

The latest earbuds feature McLaren's signature Galvanic Grey and Papaya finish. The earbuds have been engineered to offer the sound quality that Bowers & Wilkins is recognised for, in combination with the distinctive visual identity of the McLaren brand.

"We’re excited to see how it is received by Bowers & Wilkins and McLaren fans alike,” said Giles Pocock, vice-president of brand marketing for Bowers & Wilkins.
